Get Your Own Virtual Number

Dialing a virtual fax numberOne of the best things about using this technology is that you also get a virtual fax number.

When you create an account with a service, you are asked to either choose a virtual number or opt to keep your current one.  In both cases we are talking about a virtual number that is in charge of converting and redirecting incoming faxes to your Gmail inbox.

There are two types of numbers you can get: local or toll-free.

Choosing one will depend on the needs of your business, or your individual needs.  This kind of flexibility is always a good thing to have.

Once you determine what type of number you want, the fax service will link it to your fax account, so you only have to hand out this new fax number to all your contacts. For more information you can check out: http://www.squidoo.com/googlefax
