How to Send Fax from Hotmail
Once you have everything set up, it is time to actually send a fax. So head over to your Hotmail dashboard area or your preferred email client such as Microsoft Outlook and compose a new message.
In the Recipient’s field instead of adding a common email, you will have to enter the number in a special way that is usually like this: number @ faxcompany.com. So for example if you send a fax using MyFax, it would be faxnumber@MyFax.com.
Now the actual document you want to send will be added to the email as an attachment. On your Hotmail account you’ll notice a small clip icon. Well, this is the icon to attach documents. When selecting documents to fax online, be sure you are sending a file that is compatible with your current fax service, most fax services work with common file type such as pdf, doc or tiff, but they handle many more too!
If you want to add some notes on the cover page, just add them on the Message field as you like. When you are ready to send the fax, just click Send and let the magic happen!
Well as you can see, faxing from Hotmail is very easy and is really like sending email fax from another client, with the difference in the set up area. If you are interested in trying one of these service, we suggest you head over to our free email fax trial page.
